Killer Rocket

Description

Well, I'm back from vacation! I was at the Kennedy Space Center last week and took this awesome picture of a Saturn V rocket. For those of you who don't know what that means, it was the very same type of rocket that took man to the Moon. Man first landed on the Moon on Apollo 11 (there were 17 Apollo missions). This rocket was acually going to be Apollo 18, but President Nixon didn't want to fund it because of the Vietnam War. So the rocket was put on display.

Oh, and just as a little fun fact, just one of these engines has the same power as 3 Shuttles. You do the math.

very nice. But each engine alone only produces 1.5 million pounds of thrust at liftoff. 0-0 Did you perhaps mean throughout the entire 1st stage burn?
